On Thursday, July 9, 2026, Mr. Nimit Kotbua, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 9, assigned the Water Resources Conservation Division 2, Phrae, led by Ms. Jirachaya Chankham, Director of Water Resources Conservation Division 2, Phrae, along with staff, to conduct a participatory and sustainable water resource management project for water users' groups using solar-powered irrigation systems. This project supports the Royal Project-style highland development in Wang Phai, Ban Mai, Na Rai Luang Subdistrict, Song Khwae District, Nan Province, and was held at the multipurpose hall of Ban Mai.
This project aims to support network groups in managing water resources and to support their operational activities for continuous management. It also aims to strengthen network groups so that they can collectively care for, maintain, and improve water resources efficiently, ensuring fair and equitable water distribution among group members for maximum benefit and livelihood security. The project strengthens the capacity for water resource management. 60 people attended the meeting.
