Project for establishing and educating water user groups in fiscal year 2026 in Sukhothai and Phitsanulok provinces.

Mr. Nimit Kotbua, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 9, assigned the Water Resources Conservation Division 1, Phitsanulok, to organize a project to establish and educate water user groups for the fiscal year 2026. The project focuses on water user groups within the Nong Khwang-Nong Pa Don-Nong Puen-Nong Na Ban water network conservation and restoration project, including a solar-powered water distribution system, located in Moo 5, Sarachit Subdistrict, Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province. The opening ceremony was presided over by Acting Lieutenant Sukwasan Thungsap, Deputy Mayor of Sarachit Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The objective of the project is to establish water user groups utilizing water sources constructed and maintained by the Department of Water Resources. This aims to foster group management, maintenance, and equitable water distribution among group members, maximizing benefits and ensuring livelihood security. A total of 47 participants, including water users, community leaders, local administrative organizations, and relevant agencies, attended the event.
