The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) Region 9 is establishing and providing training to water user groups in Nan Province.
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Mr. Nimit Kotbua, Director of the Regional Water Resources Office 9, assigned the Water Resources Conservation Division 2, Phrae, led by Ms. Jirachaya Chankham, Director of Water Resources Conservation Division 2, Phrae, along with staff, to conduct a project to establish and provide knowledge to water user groups for the solar-powered water distribution system construction project. This project supports the Royal Project-style highland development in Pong Kham, Ban Sri Bun Rueang, Village No. 2, Tambon Pong, Santisuk District, Nan Province, at the multipurpose building in Ban Sri Bun Rueang.
This project aims to promote knowledge and community participation in water resource management in the area, fostering the formation of groups to maintain and improve water sources, ensuring their efficient and equitable distribution among group members for maximum benefit. The meeting was attended by 70 participants, including water users in the project area, community leaders, and local agencies.
