Strengthening water user groups.
On June 17, 2026, at Kiw Ya Taen Reservoir, the Office of Water Resources Region 9, specifically the Water Resource Conservation Division 1 in Phitsanulok, organized the Participatory and Sustainable Water Management and Maintenance Project (Strengthening Existing Networks) for the fiscal year 2026. The event took place at Kiw Ya Taen Reservoir, Taling Chan Subdistrict, Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sukhothai Province. Mr. Sanong Khok Sri-amnuay, Deputy Mayor of Taling Chan Subdistrict, presided over the opening ceremony. The project aimed to support existing network groups in their continuous management and strengthen their capacity to collectively manage and maintain water resources efficiently and effectively. This would ensure fair water allocation and sharing among group members, maximize benefits, enhance livelihoods, and foster the development of a water user organization. A total of 102 participants, including water users, community leaders, local administrative organizations, and relevant agencies, attended the event.
