Strengthening the water user groups of Huai Nong Kho Reservoir.
On June 18, 2026, the Regional Water Resources Office 9, specifically the Water Resource Conservation Division 1 in Phitsanulok, organized the Participatory and Sustainable Water Management and Conservation Project (Strengthening Existing Networks) for the fiscal year 2026 at Huai Nong Khao Reservoir, Wang Nam Khao Subdistrict, Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sukhothai Province. Mr. Chairong Limthong, Mayor of Wang Nam Khao Subdistrict Administrative Organization, presided over the opening ceremony. The project aimed to support existing network groups in their continuous management, strengthen their capacity, and foster collective action in managing and maintaining water resources efficiently and effectively. This would ensure fair water allocation and sharing among group members, maximize benefits, create livelihood security, and contribute to the development of a water user organization. A total of 69 participants, including water users, community leaders, local administrative organizations, and relevant agencies, attended the event.
