The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is assisting people affected by the water crisis.

The Water Resources Office Region 9 has installed a 16-inch water pump on Nam Khue Road, Sarabokeo Community, Nai Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Phrae District, Phrae Province. This pump will drain wastewater from the Nam Khue moat, which was contaminated due to water storage for fire prevention during the recent drought. The water is being pumped from the moat through drainage pipes, benefiting 256 households and 1,151 people in the Nam Khue and Sarabokeo communities.
