The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is helping people overcome the "drought" crisis (prolonged dry spell).             
The Office of Water Resources Region 9, under the direction of Mr. Nimit Kotbua, Director of the Office of Water Resources Region 9, assigned its Water Allocation Division and Mechanical Division to install a 30-inch water pump at Ban Wang Had, Village No. 2, Taling Chan Subdistrict, Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sukhothai Province. The pump is drawn from the Mae Ramphan Reservoir and irrigated into agricultural areas, benefiting residents in Villages No. 1 (Ban Taling Chan), No. 2 (Ban Wang Had), No. 7 (Ban Nong Bua Dam), and No. 10 (Ban Wang Sai Yoi). A total of 170 households (340 people) and 1,260 rai of agricultural land will benefit from this initiative.
