The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) Region 9 surveyed drought-prone areas.
On March 27-28, 2026, the Regional Water Resources Office 9, acting on the instructions of the Director-General of the Department of Water Resources, conducted field visits to coordinate and prepare for providing assistance to those affected by drought due to a shortage of water for consumption, domestic use, and agriculture in Nong Sano Subdistrict, Sam Ngam District, Phichit Province, and Wang Krod Subdistrict, Bang Mun Nak District, Phichit Province. The Regional Water Resources Office 9 will deploy tools, machinery, and equipment to provide assistance in the affected areas.
