NSTDA Region 9 surveys areas at risk of drought.

The Regional Water Resources Office 9, acting on the instructions of the Director-General of the Department of Water Resources, has conducted field visits and coordinated efforts to prepare for providing assistance to those affected by drought due to shortages of water for consumption, domestic use, and agriculture in the following areas: Thung Saliam Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Thung Saliam District, Sukhothai Province; Mae Chrim Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Mae Chrim District, Nan Province; Fai Kaeo Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phu Piang District, Nan Province; and Bo Thong Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Thong Saen Khan District, Uttaradit Province. The Regional Water Resources Office 9 will deploy tools, machinery, and equipment to provide assistance in these affected areas.
